My work is a narrative that reflects my personal experiences. There is a natural progression of ideas throughout the work. Many ideas parallel earlier works in jewelry/sculpture (including photography) and continue with thematic installations of framed images.

Individual photographs are staged set-ups in 3-D space using natural light and the same camera and lens purchased 35 years ago. Each image should be seen from multiple perspectives with layers of meaning that relate to the viewer’s own experiences. I toy with a world of ideas that playfully exposes the surreal nature of reality—which emphasizes what is real, not simply realistic.
